Bought this for my boyfriend (a LEO) to use on duty since he is a total tech wiz nerdy guy and he STILL (3 months later) has not figured out all of the functions this watch does. I might go so far as to say it has too many features. I do not regret buying it for him because it is cool and it is a nice watch, however, if you are not interested in dedicated an hour or two to figure it out I would stick with a simpler watch with less functions. Not a bad watch. Looks good. A little heavier than I anticipated. The led light is not that bright. Unless I'm not doing something correct.During the fall I have finally been able to start hiking before the hunting season starts. I have been wearing this hiking watch for over a month, and it is amazing for me. I am a geek and gadget lover but smartwatches do not hold up during week long mini-expeditions especially in the Northern Michigan elements. I wear it everyday whatever in leisure or doing outdoor sports. This watch is also an attention getter when at work. First, this cakcity watch has a great looking with military style, the watch body and wrist band are whole black. It has a huge face with big digitals that is clear to read. The design style of the watch is perfect compatible with my clothing whether casual or sports. It is attractive for me so much. I mostly using the ABC functions while riding mountain bikes, swimming and hiking. The Compass which is accurate has been tested against my mil-used metal compass and garmin gps. The Barometer and the Altimeter are decent but do not change much in my terrain. To measure the ambient temperature I simply remove the watch and let it stabilize on ambient temperature. Removing is not difficult with the double buckle design. Overall this watch has all the functions to meet my basic outdoors requirements. If you are considering to send this watch as a gift using a different shipping address during checkout, you and the person receiving this watch will not be disappointed. The gift box gives an expensive appearance and the presentation when you open this watch gets a wow factor and raised eyebrows. This is both technological and tactical for a long battery watch.I really loved the size, style, & design of this watch but for me it hasn't been durable. I wear my watches 24/7, strength coach work, house work, yard work, auto work, sleep, etc.. The face cover came off while working on the car which resulted in the face cracking & chipping, Avtrek, purchased I/31/2022 My previous watch the face also cracked, chipped, & shattered, while working on the car, Cakcity, purchased 8/26/21. Maybe I shouldn't wear it while working on the car but my past Casio, Timex, & Nike watches all endured similar wear. The North Edge was my first watch of this style, purchased 2/18/21, which the display started to fade, maybe the battery died or the button function stopped working. I'll try my luck with Casio or Timex next.I got this product and immediately loved it, it’s heavy, well built and feels like a sturdy watch that can be used while doing all types of activities. I work on a regular basis on heavy machinery and am usually outside on my free time. The watch held up for a total of three weeks when I noticed the button to cycle the time thru the different setting came out, thus making the watch unusable because I can no longer cycle back to the time setting. Loved it up til this point.I go through tactical training at the gun club periodically, and I always go through the watch, where I never go for the high dollar ones, because they always get damaged there. Another issue I have is that firing high caliber rifles, the blow back, seems to frag out the watches too. Therefore, I heard from a friend that there are tactical watches, where I found this one with really nice specs, and just looked good too. First thing, out of the box, it looks and feels like a nice piece of hardware. Very well made (has weight), good sized buttons, and not cheap either, these buttons push cleanly and accurately too...a big plus when wearing tactical gloves. I love all the features, the most is the barometer, altimeter and temperature readings is awesome. Where the elevation is needed for when I adjust out my smart scope for the round that I am firing. A good method of double checking when out in the field. The light is bright enough to see perfectly even with night glares, where that is a huge plus for me too. I love the watch band, matches up with my gear just perfectly. Another big perk for me is that my eyes is not what they used to be, and I can ready this watch without my eye glasses, and that is real hard to find anymore. Seems most watches are packing all the features into the face, and then the time is so small, I can't see it. Not with this watch, nothing I could find for cons this time, where I am very happy with the purchase.I loved this when I received it. It's heavy like it should be, the black is as pictured, and it was simply stunning. But it is fragile! The band came off (pin jumping free) with like the slightest gust of wind. And the face either came pre scratched or else scratched by an unknown cause. So... handle gingerly. I had to send it back, but the style aesthetics are on point! This has to be the most uncomfortable watch I have ever owned. Please don’t get me wrong this is an awesome piece of gear but you will have to get use to the bulky unyielding form factor. No matter how you wear the watch; tight to your wrist or a little lose you will feel the difference once you remove it. After one day of hiking to a range to shoot and a hike back this watch was the only uncomfortable thing I had with me. The tech all worked fine with easy setup. The technology in the watch is good and set up is pretty easy, however the instructions photos aren’t very clear but you should still be able to figure it out and if you get stuck there is always YouTube.Pros: Great technology, nice size,Cons: Band is very short, form factor is bulky, pretty heavy for a watch, painful to wear.Loved the look of this watch. It's big, solid, and dare I say, rather macho. The cons for me are, though the watch is made for big guys, the strap is not. I'm just 6 foot and I had to use the last hole in the strap. The watch offers a lot, but it's not overly user friendly. Could be a little more intuitive. I needed a watch that offers a multi function alarm. This one has two setting, so good Ithought. Unfortunately, the alarm is barely audible. I had to hold it up to my ear to hear it- and then it only beeps for around a second. That was disappointing. It was for this last reason I sent mine back.
