Quality is unmatched!I liked these boots because they were really high quality for the price. They have a great welt and the leather also looks good. Didn't need a lot of time to break them in. The color is also great I got them in brown and I wear them alot. I cant wait to see how they look in a year!The price is great and they look good.Fits perfectly and great quality. Seems like it would cost much more considering the craftsmanship. Very happy with this purchase.These are really nice boots! I am a big fan of the old-fashioned “combat boot” style of boots like these and they did not disappoint! They look snazzy without looking full on band of brothers jump boots if that makes sense. My husband usually wears very expensive work boots and these are a nice addition to his wardrobe for meetings and time spent at the office when he wants something a little dressier than Red Wings but not as formal as dress shoes.They come in a nice box with individual dust bags, extra laces, and a shoehorn.We were just blown away with the quality of these boots. They are made with a real Goodyear welt, something you don’t find often in this price point. The leather is beautiful and the craftsmanship exquisite. These are going to be around a long time and we’ll probably be buying a few more pairs in different colors.Break-in period did not take too long, but it has to be done or these will hurt your feet. That’s just how it is with a quality pair of leather shoes! Wear comfy socks and moleskin on your heels and go for a nice long walk on a clean surface with them and they’ll be comfy. They ended up feeling a little large but my husband has really narrow feet, so keep that in mind, if you have wide feet you will likely be happy with them. He just wore another set of socks as he is used to doing with his work boots.The combat boot variant of these boots has a really nice sole that wasn’t too slick but not too rugged and gnarly, it looks and feels great. He gets a lot of compliments on these boots.Outstanding value for the price.I ordered these for my husband who LOVES them. And, I love them, too. If you're not familiar with Goodyear Welted boots and shoes, look them up. Only better shoes make shoes this way, these days. These are built to last.The leather is top quality-- stiff for now, but they'll break in and we used some leather cream to speed that process up.They look fantastic. And, my husband says they're really comfortable. he's been wearing them all day for two days to try to break them in and, even with the leather being a bit stiff, he still thinks they're comfortable, has great arch support and don't pinch anywhere. While he didn't hike in them, he's run errands in them, walked to the coffee station in the kitchen several times, and did a couple of neighborhood walks (those are about a mile). The soles show zero wear, and his feet are comfortable without any rubbing or chafing.I was really lucky enough to get these in exchange for a review, but they are worth the money. In the past, for my husband and son, I've bought many pairs of boots (mostly here on Amazon). I've bought several pair of Timberlands, I've bought Red Wings, I've bought Danners, I've bought Doc Martins Made in England. These are up there in quality and definitely surpass boots from Keen, for instance. The only actual city-type boots I've purchased for men are the Timberland and Doc Martins. These (I ordered the lace up combat-style) are better made than the Timberlands and I think are AS well-made as the Doc Martins (while having a much slimmer/stylish silhouette).Highly recommended.Handsome leather boots true to size. Well pack with everything you need. They came with two dust bags, shoehorn, and instructions on how to take care of them. Sole of boots have a really good grip. Color is dark brown exactly has described. They are super comfortable for reference my husband uses US 9 1/2 we order size 9These boots are gorgeous! I got these as a gift for my partner and he LOVES them. They look really nice dressed up with a suit or even with nice jeans for a date night. The leather is great quality and the non-slip sole is a nice touch. They come packaged beautifully and made a really nice gift. I also love when a company supports a great program, it's awesome that this company supports women's empowerment and we'll be customers for life.
