Now this is a sharp timepiece.Totally a watch you would find inside the MOMA or MFA gift shops. This brand is clearly designed by artists and absolutely worthy of a gallery glass case. Unique, sleek, minimal and fun.The steel rings take up the entire face with just a little peek of numerals to make sure you're not late for work. The smooth circle design is perfectly sized to work with the straight edged band lugs. You can tell a lot of thought went into every aspect of the watch. The steel is polished but not shiny. Clean and simple. The face itself is slightly larger than some others, but the watch face is low profile enough to work for both men and women.Yes, there was a slight learning curve to figuring out what time it was....I'm too used to fitness trackers and spinning second hands. But it's worth it to wear such a conversation starter. EVERYbody has noticed the watch. Honestly, I originally picked it up thinking I would keep it in my stash for dress up days, but it looks just as cool with denim and sneakers and is quickly becoming my daily pick.The band is genuine leather - but it is made of a thinner, stiffer version of cowhide. It has softened up a little bit already but this type of band tends to crack over time. Hopefully not....so far so good. I would have expected a bit thicker, higher quality leather for such a pricey product, but maybe that's just me.FYI: The watch ships with a tiny piece of plastic to prevent the crown from getting pressed and draining the battery. Once you pull the piece out, setting the time is easy and then you just push and go.If you are always on the search for unique gifts or stylish gear for yourself - I totally recommend this one.
