I've realized of the two Stührling watches I have bought both are really great but promptly have basic function longevity issues right shortly after the warranty expires. I love the watches that are so innovative but they pale in comparison to my well made Swiss watches. Buyer beware if you buy one as I may do again, be ready for simple parts to fail shortly after the warranty expires. Hope Stührling will step up their fine watch making and make their watches more long lasting beyond a paltry two years.Don't get me wrong this is a beautiful watch, but because the pendulum only winds with a swing in one single direction you cannot take it off and leave it for a day without it losing time. Overwind it and set it down for a day and it moves fast. Underwind and leave it and it runs slow. Basically you have to wear it for it to keep accurate time all the time.This is watch is fire ? I got this as a gift to myself for my B.day. Man let me tell you if I could thank myself I would. That's how official this watch is.i bought this watch as a gift to my husband. after 3 months of use the watch quit working. we sent it to a warranty repair, which it got done...2 months later the watch quit working again and it is really difficult to get a hold on someone in customer service..very disappointed with the watch because it is such a good looking watchno es un mal reloj, pero le falta para llegar a ser un Bulova, por ejemplo. Much nicer in personI bought this for my husband for our 22nd wedding anniversary and he absolutely loves it. He has another Stuhrling watch that he won in a sales contest and he's wanted another one ever since.They are gorgeous timepieces and will last a lifetime. I'm sure we'll be buying one or two more before all is said and done. ;)My husband loves watches and particularly large ones with some weight to them. This one did not disappoint! The gold tone is lovely without being too flashy and the skeleton gears are beautiful and intricately detailed. He's very pleased with this new addition to his collection.Was looking for a really nice watch at a decent price and Stuhrling really shines in this area, absolutely stunning looking watches. This watch in particular looks nice especially for formal occasions.One downside to this is that as you can see in my photo, the actual colors of the watch aren't as bright and vivid as the actual promotional photos in normal circumstances. So definitely not the vivid bright blue around the edge... however I don't mind this. Another is that long nails are required for taking the dial out so you can change the time... otherwise you'll have to use a thin piece of card or something.It is an automatic so the movement of your hand winds the watch, you can also twist the dial to wind it... if you plan on not wearing it everyday expect to have to wind the watch and change the time every time you want to wear it.I definitely recommend this watch and generally this brand.Inexpensive but very beautifulIt is as described !
